I wished upon a star

It's amazing how everything can change in one second, but we don't realise it till moments later, when it actually happens and we start to notice the differences between now and then.It was difficult when it was happening, but it's worse now that it's happened. Couldn't be helped then, can't be helped now.
But the aim now is not to get so absorbed in myself like I was when it seemed like the world stopped spinning. The aim now is to look beyond everything that involves me, and try living life for all those things that made me happy when I was myself.
To try living the way I did, and bringing smiles to people's faces if that's what I'll be remembered for.
And most importantly, to do all these things bearing in mind that it's never for myself, but for everyone else.
Because if I can continue to be that way, then it proves that things that change in one second never really change at all.
